I love stir-fry dishes! especially a good Chinese or Thai style hot sizzling beef stir-fry In this video, we are going to make Thai basil beef stir-fry What makes my dish special? Besides it is easy to make and so delicious I’m going to show you how to make it with no added sugar and with the ingredients you can find it easily. Yes! Thank you! Now everything happens very quickly in stir-fry So we’re gonna prepare all the ingredients first thinly slice the beef against the grain to less than quarter inch thick so it will be less chewy you can use a skirt steak beef flap sirloin or flank Season it with coconut aminos that’s a wheat and soy free soy sauce substitute toasted sesame oil fish sauce little baking soda to tenderize the meat and arrowroot to replace corn starch We’re also going to need sliced garlic cloves julienned ginger Scallions and Thai chilies or you can use Serrano or Fresno chilies I love color and crunch. So I’m gonna add some sliced bell peppers and Large bunch of Thai basil or sweet basil if you can’t find them. For the sauce combine coconut aminos Fish sauce and a little black pepper easy right? now We have everything ready pre-heat a stainless steel skillet until it’s too hot to place your palm nearby about 2 to 3 inches away This will create a temporary nonstick service Avocado oil, it’s great for high heat cooking pan. Sear the beef in a single layer Try not to disturb them for about 2 minutes or until you see the bottom becomes crisp burn Then flip to quickly sear the flip side about 30 seconds Set it aside along with any pan juices use the same skillet add more oil, add the Aromatics with two pinches of salt and saute for about eight to ten seconds. This will bring out more flavor Add bell peppers. Season with another pinch of salt, saute for about five seconds Add loads of basil and saute for another five to six seconds Finally add the beef and pan juices. Give everything a quick toss and this dish is ready! Oh It’s savory Naturally sweet and the beef is juicy and flavorful. This will go so well with steamed rice or cauliflower fried rice this Thai basil stir-fry is so easy to make and very Yummy because there’s no added sugar and it’s also low carb.
